Spring Sprang Sprung

While the humans are inside, the wildlife romp and frolic.

The bees search for nectar.

The rose buds drip with dew.

All the flowers are in bloom.

The trees smile at their reflections in the pond.

The birds take flight.

The colors are spectacular.

Gone Fishin'

We decided to go out to the pond and do some fishing.

The trip seemed blessed from the outset.

It was a spectacular drive out to the woods.

Samuel caught this monster.

He was initially quite scared.

Then Grace and Lucy showed him it was fun!

His next catch was less frightening.

Then Annabelle caught this tiny fish.

She claims it was a real fighter.

We all got a big laugh.

Grace caught the biggest bluegill of the day.

Then Annabelle switched bait and reeled in a 5 pound bass.
