I am pleased to say that we have been out and about having a pretty
fun time. We were out so late we didn't have time to blog! We left
after lunch for the Safari Park and the Chimelong Circus. I was
expecting a zoo and some girls on elephants. What we found, however
was quite spectacular. Pretty much every animal you can think of was
present out in a real habitat. Very impressive! I will let the photos
speak for themselves. I have no idea what to post, however, as i took
almost 750 pictures while we were out...
Suffice it to say, it was really really hot and we had a really good
sweaty time at both venues. We got to hold a baby lion, touch a
python, and eat dinner at a Circus Restaurant (no ill effects yet). We
took a train ride through the outside exhibits then we took a walking
tour, where we bought meat to feed the tigers. Fun! They have 200 of
the world's 350 white tigers here in the safari park. They also have
many cute baby animals and performing tigers and so forth.
The highlight of the trip was the circus, however, with amazing
lights, ballet, animals, clowns, platform diving, and pretty much
everything else you can think up. The most amazing part of the show
was a group of daredevils who jumped rope blindfold on the top of a
wildly spinning structure; see photos. I will also post some pictures
of mom and dad and the kids. Enjoy!
