Hannah, Luke, Zarina, Joshua, Grace, Rinat and Sholpan are now back from a week in NYC, where they experienced many things they would never see in Richmond, fed the homeless, stocked food pantries, sorted baby clothes, did Meals on Wheels, sang and danced in their production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and wandered freely through the city with the help of some pretty polished chaperones and a really complex subway system.
Special thanks to Dwayne, Reveille UMC's Youth Pastor, for spending so much time with Rinat, making two trips to the ER, enduring sleepless nights, and generally taking care of everyone else on the trip, too. Get some sleep, Dwayne; you've earned it...
