Beauty is defined as that which brings pleasure to the mind,
especially through the senses. Pleasure is self-defining.
I think this box (a birthday gift from my master craftsman father-in-law) is beautiful.
Up until this week, the weather in Virginia also qualified as pleasing to the senses.
