May was a very rainy time central Virginia.
Sophie and Susan fled to Philadelphia for a new brace at Shriner's.
Grace and Samuel sought refuge locally.

The boys drove themselves to the Cleft Palate clinic.
They had as much fun as a person can have and still be at the hospital.
Then we went to the cabin and built some tall towers.
