It Finally Happened: DeLilles, Dennehys, and Thompsons Together

Festive decorations and the love of God were on display at the home of Bob and Carrie DeLille.

The party included several generations of DeLilles,
including Kelli DeLille May and adorable Leland May.

Otis, the family bear (or, dog?)

Our outgoing host, Sam DeLille, kind enough to pose for the paparazzi.

Bob (the grill master) DeLille

Andi Dennehy

There were also several generations of Dennehys present, including Sharon, Mike,
Mike's mom, and a fraction of the now famous Dennehy children.

Annabelle Thompson

Hope Dennehy

International Pool Party!
(with special guest (and Dennehy cousin) Caitlin Kotarba)

Samuel: "Dad, take these water wings off me. I look silly."

The evening would not be complete without snapping a photo of this
awesome wood carving of Sparty (Michigan State mascot).

Thanks to John Hannah for Sparty.

Thanks to Michigan State for giving Nick Saban his start.

Thanks to the DeLilles for hosting the party.

Thanks to the DeLilles and the Dennehys for sharing their lives with us.

Thanks to The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit for giving us all a purpose.

Kazakh Vistors: When Blogs Collide

Olya, from sunny Kazakhstan

Sam and friends

Carrie DeLille, from the blog next door...
We had a wonderful surprise recently when our friend Carrie DeLille
dropped by with Olya, her friend from Kazakhstan.

Olya enjoyed her visit with Rinat, Sholpan, and Zarina.

Olya is a walking miracle. The last time I saw her in the U. S. was
several years ago when she was getting an MRI for a particularly
invasive head and neck cancer, which has now been completely cured.

Yes, you can say Amen.
