When Reality Approaches Fantasy

Spring is here and the sun has returned

Lucy's concussion is resolving and her gymnastics pals were so glad to see her again.

Spring cleaning finds Luke and Joshua visiting the rooftop gutters.

With the return of Grace and James, comes also the return of piano music, well-played.

This image requires some explanation: The Captain and Tennille are "splitsville"

Just kidding. Luke and Hannah and friends made a music video for school as a parody
of material-obsessed teenagers who spend too much time and money at the mall (BASIC).

Yes, it is on YouTube.

What is it with Thompsons and The Waffle House?

Biologic or adopted, all Thompsons love a good Waffle House!

Meanwhile, back home, "professional movers" brought Grace's new piano
up the stairs, very, very slowly (with grateful thanks to T Underhill and A Browning).

A Visit from George Dennehy

Grace and her musically talented friends are so much fun, a real blessing.
George Dennehy came over to show the family the fine art of piano playing.
George has very talented feet that can play piano, guitar, and cello.
A YouTube video of him playing Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls went viral
recently and resulted in a stream of good fortune for George, including
playing with the Goo Goo Dolls at a music festival in Pennsylvania,
multiple international interviews and TV shows, trips to his native Romania,
the release of his first single "It's a Gift" from the iTunes music store,
all culminating in the best gift of all, playing piano with Grace and Samuel.

Lucy was particularly fascinated and has spent some time this afternoon
trying to play the piano with her freshly washed feet (thanks, Bishop Cho).
