Durable Medical Equipment

Sophie will be getting a new wheelchair soon, like this model (but pink, of course).

Samuel is feeling better after getting some breathing treatments over the weekend.

Bunny is breathing better, too!

Coming and Going

Grace returned safely from El Salvador, with stories of hope, a vision of the kingdom of God,
and a few gifts for her friends back in the USA.

Meanwhile, Carlee was on her way to Manhattan.

Night falls on everyone under heaven, but soon the morning comes.

Dinner with Friends: Pure Gold

Brad and Sharon and Beth came over and brought hamburgers and hotdogs to have a cookout.
Such fun!

Rinat said the burgers were delicious, even with two broken arms.

Matt had a burger, too.

Samuel was quite taken with Kate and they were fast friends.

He also liked sitting with Abby, his new "popcorn pal"

We all congregated in the family room to watch Olympic gymnastics.

Samuel got some sugar

and the US took the gold!

Mission to Honduras

Reveille UMC is sponsoring 5 mission trips this summer. Two separate teams of middle schoolers went to Virginia and West Virginia with Jeremiah Project. Senior high and older kids are currently with Habitat for Humanity in Usulutan, El Salvador. High school kids will go in August to the eastern shore of Virginia with Habitat (many of whom have already gone on choir tour to North Carolina). Also, our mission team (medical, optometric, and dental) to the Yoro Mountains of Honduras with Friends of Barnabas recently returned and these powerful photos Emma Bruny and Caroline LeRoux took show clearly how people can act as the hands, feet, and voice of Christ in the world.
