Giving Thanks

The table was set for Thanksgiving Dinner

We used these wonderful plates, a time honored tradition.

We also tried something new: a deep fryer for the bird

College folks took a break from their studies.

We gave thanks because we are a thankful group.

We ate a lot because we are a hungry group.

Then we hit the road for a while, long enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Dinner with Friends: Pure Gold

Brad and Sharon and Beth came over and brought hamburgers and hotdogs to have a cookout.

Such fun! 

Rinat said the burgers were delicious, even with two broken arms.

Matt had a burger, too.

Samuel was quite taken with Kate and they were fast friends.

He also liked sitting with Abby, his new "popcorn pal"

We all congregated in the family room to watch Olympic gymnastics.

Samuel got some sugar

and the US took the gold!
