Samuel Alexander (ZiJie)

Zi Jie, born May 1, 2010

For those of you who haven't heard, we are going to adopt this

wonderful young man from Inner Mongolia. We plan to name 

him Samuel Alexander ZiJie. We got approval to adopt him but 

we do not yet have travel plans. We think we will be able to adopt

Sam and Sophie on the same trip.

Perhaps we can go there as early as February.

Your prayers are greatly appreciated and warmly felt.

Sophie Claire (JiaYi)

This is JiaYi. We finally got approval to adopt her and hope

to travel to China in February and bring her home.

She was born June 17, 2004 with spina bifida.

Complications of surgery left her paraplegic, but 

she has since regained some function in her right leg.

We are excited to have her in our family soon.

We plan on naming her Sophie Claire JiaYi.

She knows we are coming.
