It's Been Too Long!

Please accept my apologies. as it has been a good while since last I blogged.
The big news here is that Grace is going to Ole Miss in January!

The Underhill's piano miraculously arrived undamaged in Grace's room.

Reveille UMC is alive and well.

Cold weather has not kept the beauty of nature away.

Lucy is more wonderful each day.

Samuel is still hilarious!

Violin music goes well with swinging in a hammock!

What is it with Thompsons and The Waffle House?

Biologic or adopted, all Thompsons love a good Waffle House!

Meanwhile, back home, "professional movers" brought Grace's new piano
up the stairs, very, very slowly (with grateful thanks to T Underhill and A Browning).

Noah took my iPhone while we were hiking the Neuse River Trail.
These are his images from the afternoon. Pretty nice compositions.

Hotty Toddy: Grace visits Oxford

Noah, Jacob, and I checked into our hotel in Raleigh for the big soccer tournament.

After two wins on Saturday, the boys decided to chill and watch some football.

We chose the Ole Miss game.
It was a blow out, but fun to watch.

Go Rebels!

They showed the cheerleaders.

They showed the Rebelettes.

They showed the band.

They showed the many Ole Miss touchdowns.

They showed the screaming fans.
Hey, wait a second! That looks like William, Emily, Grace, and Rebekah!
Hotty Toddy!

Grace loves the Grove (and apparently this cute bear).

Neuse River Trail, Raleigh, NC

Taking a break from travel soccer, Noah, Jacob and I decided to flee the
hotel and open our minds to the beauty of creation on the
Neuse River Trail in Raleigh, NC.

Enjoy!
