At Home in Guntersville, Alabama

I went home in April when my mom entered hospice.
The people caring for her were kind and warm and very helpful.

The azaleas were in full bloom

The lake was serene.

Brothers

Matthew came up from Birmingham.

Cape and Joy and Dubya came to greet me.

We moved my grandmother to a really nice new nursing home.
They had so many fun things to do, it was like a cruise ship in port!

My mom got to be at home in her final days.
I think we can all agree the view from her bedroom window beats that of any hospital.

Rachael and Kevin came by.
