Gleaning in the Fields

On Monday, I took some day campers from Vacation
Bible School out to an organic farm in King William
county, Virginia, to glean tomatoes for the poor.

It was about 114 degrees.

The kids were awesome.

Later in the week they all slept in boxes outside in
Reveille UMC's Garth, to gain empathy for the homeless.
