With Sholpan at work and the other teenagers busily rehearsing for the upcoming
epic production of Jesus Christ Superstar, Jacob's tenth birthday celebration was
somewhat sparsely attended, at least by Thompson family standards.
Lucy, Noah, Sophie, Annabelle, Samuel, mom, and dad were present to sing the birthday song,
share the birthday cake, and smile at the birthday boy while he opened the birthday presents.
