Sunday Brunch at the Lodge (Guntersville State Park)

The jeep meandered through the verdant forest, winding its way to the top of the mountain.

At the top of the hill, the Lodge welcomed the hungry with open arms.

Stone walls and pillars made for a grand entrance.

The dining areas were filled to capacity.

The buffet was worth the wait. Fried okra for everyone!

The observation deck provided great views and ample shade.

Looks like everyone got the "Wear Yellow" memo today!

The happy couple posed for the obsessed photographer (as if they had a choice).

A bizarre assortment of animals populated the fenced-in water treatment facility.
